Modern religious architecture is very different than religious architecture in the past. Many buildings now are composed of mainly shapes, forms and figures. An easier way to state this is simplification of form. One example that clearly shows this idea is the Cadet Chapel at the United States Air Force Academy. Another example of Modern architecture is the architect is Auguste Perret. He designed many buildings including the building in the bottom left. This building St. Joseph's Church in Le Havre built between 1949-1956. With simplified forms and shapes, modern religious architecture is very unique compared to the past.
